My blog, Two Cannoli, is a vehicle for my own personal essays and photos. Two Cannoli has been online since 2011, and was named a Babble blog of the year in 2013.
In May 2014, I was named a BlogHer Voice Of The Year and will be reading one of my essays on stage in front of a couple thousand people at the annual conference in San Jose, California. There were over 2,500 submissions for the VOTY awards, and mine was one of 12 to be chosen for a stage reading.
LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER SHOW
In 2013, my essay Being Brave was chosen from hundreds of submissions to be read on stage for the Austin Listen to Your Mother event. Along with twelve other writers, I read my piece for a sold-out crowd at the AT&T conference center in downtown Austin. In 2014, I stepped in as co-producer of the show and could not find a more supportive and wonderful group of people in this community.
